We have a plan for a fairer Scotland: a Scotland where we ask those with the broadest shoulders to bear the biggest burden and where we choose to use the powers of our Parliament to fund our public services.
We’re upfront and honest about how we are going to tackle the problems our country faces. There are 152,000 fewer students in our colleges than when the SNP took power. There are 4,000 fewer teachers in our schools than in 2007. The attainment gap between the richest and the poorest is at its widest ever.
We can make Scotland fairer: by abolishing council tax and replacing it with a land value tax, by reversing George Osborne’s tax cuts, by building 60,000 new affordable homes and by introducing a Fair Start Fund to help the poorest kids in our schools.
But we need your help to do it.
